Holigays Workshop: Paint Customized LGBTQIA+ Cups

Want your very own custom LGBTQIA+ cup but want to paint it yourself? Come spend a Friday night in art community painting a ceramic cup that's been made just for you! You'll learn about the finishing process of glazing a piece of pottery and create your very own one-of-a-kind cup using a rainbow of glazes. Any extra time will be used to paint small pre-made trinket dishes. 

Cups will be wheel-thrown and bisque fired by Laurel in advance of the class, customized with your very own phrase selected during registration. Can't decide on a phrase? Pick from the list of curated queer-themed phrases instead 🌈 When registering you'll get to pick whether your cup will be made with a white clay or a light tan speckled clay.

Masks: Required! KN95s will be provided for free, let's not get each other sick during the holigays season!

Pickup: Work will be fired in a ceramic kiln twice, first to bisque temperature at about 1900°F and then in a second glaze firing to approximately 2200°. Pieces will be food and dinnerware safe after firing. Pickup will begin December 16, shipping is also available if needed.
