About the event

Play with Clay Workshops are a fun and comfortable place to try a new art medium, hang out in community, and create a finished ceramic piece! It's a perfect afternoon activity for friends, couples, or polycues to create a new piece of home decor or a gift for a loved one. No previous experience with clay necessary!

In this workshop students will paint a pair of gingerbread people! Students will have the choice of pre-made happy, surprised, or grumpy gingerbread hand built by Laurel. You'll use a rainbow of colors to glaze and decorate your gingerbread and create a one-of-a-kind set that can be used as wall hangings or ornaments. Your ceramic gingerbread people will be made from a light brown speckled clay and measure approximately 4.5 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks.

Holigays editions of the Play with Clay workshops are designed for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to have fun and play with clay. With this is mind, I ask that at least one member of your registration group identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
