Gay Halloween: Pumpkins and Ghosts - Afternoon

Play with Clay Workshops are a fun and comfortable place to try a new art medium, hang out in community, and create a finished ceramic piece! It's a perfect afternoon activity for friends, couples, or polycues to create a new piece of home decor or a gift for a loved one. No previous experience with clay necessary! 

In this workshop students will create their very own hand built decorative pumpkin and a set of tiny ghosts. In our first class meeting students will utilize pinch pots in two ways to create hollow decorative pumpkins and set of tiny ghosts. In our second class meeting students will use a rainbow of colors to glaze and decorate their pieces. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup within 2 weeks. 

Gay Halloween editions of the Play with Clay workshops are designed for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to have fun and play with clay. With this is mind, I ask that at least one member of your registration group identifies as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

This is a two session workshop - participants will attend both dates:

• Saturday October 5: 2:00PM - 3:30PM
• Saturday October 19: 2:00PM - 3:30PM

Registration: 

• Registration minimum: 5 participants, maximum: 10 participants
• This workshop is ages 16+, minors must be accompanied by a guardian or parent
• Cost is $60 per guest for both dates which includes pottery instruction, all materials and firings, and a finished custom piece! 
• Masks are required. N95 masks will be provided for free
• Please note: Workshops are non-refundable. If you can't make it you're welcome to send a friend in your place - just let us know! 
• If the minimum registration is not met the workshop will be cancelled and guests will be offered a credit for another workshop
